Heather Heaman

Heather Heaman is the Senior Manager of Operational Excellence for Canadian Accreditation at the Health Standards Organization.  HSO is an organization that develops standards, assessment programs and quality improvement solutions, and delivers accreditation programs to health and social services organizations and government in more than 12,000 locations worldwide.  She is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist and has fulfilled various leadership roles in accreditation, quality, risk, and program development, for both profit and not for profit organizations.  She brings extensive professional experience working in palliative care and with clients with dementia and has related personal experience as a caregiver.   Heather resides in Uxbridge, Ontario.
